Our coral reef projects bridge culture and ecology. We work with indigenous themes from the local region, working closely with elders in the community to ensure cultural sensitivity and accuracy.

Through these themes, we are able to support and share indigenous culture and wisdom.

Our sculptural reef in Sosua, Dominican Republic is inspired by Atabey, the Creation Mother of the Taino people. The Taino’s are the indigenous people of the Carribean.

Through this project, it has ignited conversations through the country to acknowledge and support the cultural and historical heritage of this land.
